How to add found asset

Step 1

The following explains the instruction numbers in the diagram above:

1 : Select the found asset option

2 : Select the correct asset group from listed asset groups. Adding under the wrong asset group is useless, because it will never get picked up by any search.

3 : Select the exact asset manufacturer from the list

4 : Click the add button

5 : Select the country, and the city/town where the asset was found

6 : Provide at least one of the three specified identifiers. Your input will only be accepted if it matches the expected pattern for the identifier type.

7 : Specify provide name, found location information, and message to be shown to the members viewing this found asset record.

8 : Click the submit button to add the found asset to the portal.
